Torque ESG/X Partnership Announcement

 
 
 
 
 

Torque has formed a close partnership with The ESG Transition Company to help the real estate industry reach its sustainability and CSR goal, using them to answer the needs of investors, tenants and the community at large. We are excited to announce that Torque has also rebranded ESG Co as ESG/X, with three branded service lines: ESG/Xpertise, ESG/Xchange and ESG/Xpression. The announcement is planned for the September 28, 2022 SOLD OUT Bisnow New York Women Leading Real Estate Cocktail Awards Event in New York.

Our formal partnership with ESG/X means that we will provide messaging, branding and marketing services through the company’s service ESG/Xpression. We also provide services directly to our existing clients, and draw from ESG/X expertise to design those campaigns. In addition to corporate ESG communication programs, we provide ESG Investor communications, ESG Broker communications, ESG Tenant communications, all of which include creative message development, education, content, awareness and visibility media specific to each unique organization and property.

It’s no secret that most companies, and certainly all of our clients are having earnest conversations about ESG. There is an urgent need to plan, manage and report on progress towards Environment, Social and Governance goals. These commitments are an important part of messaging, brand meaning for properties and for real estate ownership. This has been the basis for Torque and ESG Co to help companies find the best ways to take center stage!

Every meeting we have with our clients: owners, brokers, investors and property managers, they all talk about the importance of having an ESG plan with clear priorities and a way to get them done. Many have been busy writing their plans for a considerable time, and they’ve found that this is a complex and fast evolving segment of our global culture and economy that affects virtually everything.

Every real estate company and property portfolio is on an unique ESG journey with many ways to achieve those goals. There are many levers that can be pulled, but there is seldom a team or a manager dedicated to leading the effort. 

These are the marketplace  pressures that gave birth to the ESG/X business model, and to create three specialized lines of business, ESG/Xpertise, ESG/Xchange and ESG/Xpression to support the unique needs of companies in real estate, manufacturing, education, and other institutions across all phases of their ESG journey.

 
 

ESG/Xpertise begins with taking inventory of where End-users stand including mandates that are on the horizon, relevant laws and regulations, competitor’s corporate sustainability progress, stakeholder expectations, internal ESG strategies and efficacy. Once the baseline assessment has been conducted, the pathway to achieve End-users ESG goals is clear, and execution can be initiated. 

ESG/Xchange is the company's Provider network of over one hundred sustainable solution provider partners that undergo a rigorous vetting process. With an expert grasp on each Provider’s product and value proposition in tandem with a holistic understanding of End-users' needs and opportunities, the company is able to curate the most effective suite of suitable solutions for each End-user's case.  

ESG/Xpression characterizes the final component of the ESG journey— transparent and powerful communication to End-users' stakeholder universe. The Xpression team turns End-users lists of ESG goals, efforts, and metrics into a cohesive story, bringing even greater value and purpose to each initiative implemented.  

Torque has seen that much of the value and impact of ESG commitments and initiatives can be enhanced through communications, by providing educational content and aligning with company brands and culture. For years Torque has specialized in working with property owners and developers, both on individual properties and at the company and portfolio level, to creatively tell brand stories and engage audiences. And now with ESG/Xpression, we have developed a proprietary suite of planning, creative and messaging processes to bring the ESG story into the marketing and make it part of the brand story of our real estate clients, their portfolios and individual properties. 

We are thrilled with the implications of ESG for the planet, for societies around the world, and for the opportunities for the built space to contribute and flourish to the ESG transition.  

The ESG Transition Company is now ESG/X, with brand redesign by Torque! We will be helping them launch the new brand at the Bisnow New York Women Leading Real Estate Cocktail Awards Event on September 28, 2022 where ESG/X and Torque will help honor 48 women leading New York’s Innovative Real Recovery!
