The New Look of Torque
Like people, companies evolve and creatively reinvent themselves over time. Change is an opportunity for a visual brand to reflect what’s new to the world. Or more specifically, to reflect the select parts of the world where the company wants to make a dent. And It’s 2022, the year of “transformergence”—so we did!
We are excited to pull the cover off of our fresh brand system redesign! And it’s high time as we’ve been passionately at work redefining ourselves.
We’ve set our logo mark in a more refined typeface to soften the bold heaviness of the outgoing mark. This is in keeping with our central practice of Emergent Marketing and collaboration, which calls for approachability and engagement in our relationships. It’s one of the most valuable aspects we bring to our client relationships and other stakeholders.
We’ve also changed the red- our new red is more nuanced to fit our approach to design and problem solving. Many of our clients represent their enterprises with bold reds, which is appropriate for power brands focused on acquisition and development. But we’re in the service business, so collaboration is our first priority.
We’ve also developed a complete color palette and design system to work across digital media and mobile screens. Digital media has evolved rapidly and as we create brand designs that are optimized for those devices, we wanted to do the same for ourselves—not just to walk the talk, but also out of passion for the craft and Aesthetic intelligence.
