Torque was engaged to name the company and develop a brand identity and position for the small business market. Torque developed the name IT Lighthouse and tagline: “The Way Small Business Manages Information Technology™” after hearing repeated customer comments that the services and knowledge offered were a beacon and salvation for business. Torque developed a website, direct response materials and sales collateral, as well as a full naming system for their extended service offering.
The resulting brand identity and marketing program were well received. IT Lighthouse grew 50% in the first 18 months. The promise and value of preventative maintenance outsourcing was clear, and their bright, simple identity became an icon for assistance and assurance.
