Putting the Brand
on Display
Challenge
For years, the Expo brand had been coasting on well-worn products
and packaging. Torque was brought in to help revitalize the brand
with new packaging, retail displays and promotional programs.
Solution
Torque developed a value proposition and message platform to guide packaging design and a bank of “lifestyle” photographic assets. Torque then developed graphic standards and a communication system, applying them to 31 SKUs of dry erase boards. Additionally, Torque designed a four-foot planogram, a promotional end cap campaign, and an educational display system.
To support Sanford’s presentation to retailers, Torque provided
a full line of production-quality mock-ups, then shipped and
assembled a full-scale planogram at Wal-Mart and other retail
corporate testing facilities.
Result
Torque’s approach to channel-sales support set a new standard for
Sanford, and sell-in to mass merchant retailers has been strong.
