The Graduate Hotel: Dollyisms In Interiors

“It’s hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world.” Not only was this said by the top country singer of all time, but Dolly Parton’s sentiments here and her encouragement to stand out, are personified in the Nashville-based Graduate Hotel and its rooftop bar.

Using space, decor and design to pay distinct homage to the 16th most popular all-time music artist, The Graduate Hotel and its rooftop bar, White Limozeen, buck conformity. Here interior design meets kitsch decor, ornate interior design storytelling and country nostalgia.

This is how you do it when you want to stand out - hospitality style.

Think of Dolly Parton as interior design. Think of cocktails and over-the-top ornamental riffs on the classic in settings that scream pink, fluffy and a whole lot of country sass.

After ‘Working 9 to 5’, guests at the While Limozeen are immediately transported into an extravagant interior that features a wrap-around bar, vibrant outdoor patio and adornments that seem like they’ve been taken out of the country singer’s wardrobe.

In terms of design style, Dolly Parton comes to life in every furniture texture and pattern, fabric-covered hanging lights, large posters and pop art. Glimpses of shimmering gold, wildly decorated walls and over-the-top decorative pieces really draw guests into an environment that is unlike any other.

It is these elements that make the Graduate Hotel become a diamond. A diamond in a rhinestone world. Who wouldn’t want to wine and dine in a world of big hair, floral comforts and pink statues? Who wouldn’t want to experience something more than a fun cocktail?

This is why people flock here…and keep coming back. Cudos to the designer(s).
